Don't believe I said anything about a cam gear going, but just to clarify, the crank pully is whats shot. The cam talk was because he has an 01 SOHC SPI Focus, and I have a DOHC SVTiminhell wrote:Dunno. Count teeth and measure diameter. If they are the same it should work.
Never heard of a cam gear breaking though. Sorta thinking more may be wrong than just the gear.

The crank pullies are NOT the same, I don't know what the physical difference is but the part numbers are different.

The old single cam is a zetec, but I'm sure steve is right. Single cam is an SPI, I've never heard it called a Zetec before.
