Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

Anyone ever replaced these? I talked to a local auto store and they didn't have the make/model in their books. Looks pretty simple, but as I've learned before, looks can be deceiving lol.

Did you replace just one? I was going to do both, but I guess just changing one out might do the trick

If they're the same as my Cougar (i'm assuming they are all pretty much the same) they are easy. Just pop on and off. If you get a part number off them the parts store might be able to look them up.

They aren't even the same on all Cougars let alone Cougar to Focus. Cougars are bizarre. :?

The wagon liftgate struts are $21.00 each and I'd have to order them. Not a real common issue.

I may have to swap you some SVT front springs for a set. Mine are close to caput.

i just did one, but it got damaged and was leaking grease. i think left/right are the same part. listen to them and see if they sound weird or are leaking. one good one won't hold it up so you want to be sure. try AV ford, they should have in stock
