I'm tossing around the idea to try out autocross for the first time this year. Anyone here participate locally?

I did it once at JetFest.
A friend of mine and I are planning on going this year alittle bit more to the local ones in the cities. It won't be all the time, but we would like to go once a month. Its alot of fun.

I would'nt be able to go on Sundays. I need Saturdays. Thats my day off, Sat.

Dave(my friend who want to go) said that his VW club was renting the Valley Fair parking lot for a weekend to autoX. But isn't there a SCCA club that races on the weekends. Or is the ValleyFair crew the SCCA club.

Well, I'm looking into some grippy tires. I have a new set of lightweight rims on the way (I'd better keep them...lol).
Since I'm running 15's, I'm going to stick with them. I already have the full Eibach suspension.
