It's really easy to do. The only hard part is that you have to shave a little off of the cover behind the UDP. I have a FocusSport one, it's made with great quality and very cheap.

yea i just got me a focussport udp today also :D ... any closer shops around the city (st. paul) cuz i don't have tools lol

got my UDP sometime last week, anyone wanna try it on their focus? dunno if I should install it on my car now or wait til spring or another car

if you have hand toold and can follow directions it shouldnt take more than 2 hours and thats if youve never worked on a car before.

we did mine in like 45 minutes, basic sockets and mechanical knowledge, and also a big screwdrover to keep stuff from turning so you can loosen the nut on the pulley

Tell you the truth, I did'nt feel any difference. I did'nt dyno it, but the ass dyno did'nt notice a thing. To me, it was a waste of money since I can't use it now anyway with my supercharger.

I think I am going to try a UDP in conjunction with some other parts and see if my "ass dyno" feels anything. I am sure, with the other mods I plan to do at the same time, I will feel something. I am going to pick up like 15-20hp just in cams!!!--no, not really, but, I couldn't resist, someone on a cardomain page said they think they got that much on cams alone in a focus...roflz...
