Does anyone know if I am covered under the factory rust warranty even though I am the second owner?

You would have to check with the dealer. The orig owner of my car bought the extended warranty. But since he got rid of it. The warranty was still going, but I just had to pay a filing fee, and have the orig owner sign over the warranty, and it would continue under my name. But I believe that was the power/train warranty. So I did'nt get it, since I would'nt think I would need it.

Nevermind. I just found a link to the warranty information online and i guess it had to make a hole in order to be covered. Stupid. rust is rust. oh well.
