Wondering who is supercharged, what unit, mods, psi, tune, and power output.

I am contiplating a serious upgrade or few. Not looking to make a race car, but, def. want to make it a step closer to moving like my supercoupe did.

I'm running the Vortech @ 8psi right now. I'm still using Vortech's mail order tune and put down 175 at the wheels over the summer.

co_macho and a guy up in Duluth are running the JRSC. AFAIK both are putting down the stock boost without the bbk.

I'm not boosted yet. But hopefully by next summer, I will be boosted with a FocusSport Stage 2 or 3.

If you want nitrous I might get rid of mine. NX kit with the full throttle switch, purge, remote bottle opener, and bottle heater. The bottle is also cur=stom painted. Bottles 3/4 atleast full.

Do you have a dyno graph?

I am thinking of picking up a blower, the roots-type offers the power band I am after, right away, and flat. The vortechs have to be wound a bit more to make power, but, in the long run, offer best upgradability over the JRSC. The power works kit is nice but I have better things to spend 5k on. I am really leaning towards the FR/JR kit, I think it offers the best bang for the buck with the most simplicity. I wonder if a m90 could replace the m45 that comes with it  I know GM uses the m90 on the gtp w/o an intercooler.

alot of it is new like all the wires brackets and aluminum ring for the remoe bottle opener. It's has only been used about 10 times bofor I made it stop working. Let me think about it. I don't plan on using it because I don't want to fuck around with forged internals for now, I canceld the rods and pistons I had on oerder.

If you ever chang your mind just order up a short block, I am sure you will do that when you get boost happy with your turbo setup.

Get a thicker headgasket to help drop your compression lower.

mcnewsautomotive is setitng the roush turbo kit for 4k, they are really pimping that as the most bang for the buck forced indcution, fyi, if anyone was interested.

i'm doin 5psi right now with 2.5 pulley (stock = 3.0)
if you are going for JRSC, you might also wanna get 70mm MAF as well. I just finally get the MAF installed last week

I don't know why but the new code i got makes my tranny going weird. i need to go back to the tune shop and get it reburn.

Dyno graph? Is the blower loud when you get on it?

There's plenty of room for improvement here. From what most people tell me, there's another 15-30 whp to be added from tuning and adjusting the fuel on the nitrous.

i haven't dynoed my car yet. i was thinking about it during summer but it didn't happen. maybe spring or when we have a dyno day next year.
the blower makes decent noise. it blends in with my exhaust though and i think my exhaust is little louder.
