I was wondering if anyone knew a way to convert the front wheel spindals of a 2005 focus to a 5 bolt, It would need to be 5 on 4.5, same as a Ranger, Jeep, etc. Yah, the ceaper the better.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? There are wheel adapters for this sort of thing, but generally they will mess up your offset. Especially if you're trying to use wheels that came off a Ranger/Jeep/Other RWD vehicle as the backspacing/offset is way different for them.

No, I'm not trying to put ranger wheels on a focus or anything wierd like that. For now the project is top secret. Something I'm working on in my head and gathering parts for in the hope I can get the time to actually build it. I don't want wheel spacers, that would make the project even wider. I'd like to just swap out the hubs and rotors.

an awd focus is alot of work. and swaping over to m3 bearins and brakes is the most cost effective route if a big brake kit is what your lookin at . junkyard parts

awd focus??? That does sound like a lot of work.
I'm not after bigger brakes, just 4.5 - 5 bolt. Is that what an m3 has?

I know one guy made himself a set of five bolt hubs using stock hubs.
He welded a plug into one of the wheel stud holes and then redrilled the hub for the size he wanted, he couldn't get the pattern to work without plugging and welding the one hole because the spacing always hit the edge of one of the holes.

mazda 3. i am not 100 percent sure but i think early m3 s used a pinch style hub. swaping this part in allows a better brake package and if image is more important then you have more options for big dumb shiny rims.

sorry im old and grumpy. yes i am fairly sure its 4.5 on 5 but it can be 5 on 4.25 as well cus mazda likes to put in your butt like that.....oh i do nut lahk et , et huort in mah buhtt.

Mazda cars are almost all 5 x 4.25" if I remember correctly. Same goes for most Japanese FWD models that aren't 4-bolt.
