I have a 2004 SVT and the clutch is starting to slip so I need a new one. This is my daily and its bone stock. Any recommendations? I will be adding bolt ons with cams being the most aggressive addition, keeping it N/A.

Thanks for the input

As long as you're N/A I doubt you'll need anything more than a stock clutch.

CFM has some stuff as does CLUTCHCITYONLINE.

Can I just go with the Luk kit without the flywheel (around $250) or do I need the new style flywheel(closer to $525 for everything)?

Thanks for the input guys

looks like a lot of fing around for just moving the power band around a little. still when getting the bigger cams(the only one worth the p.i.t.a) your still looking at 12 hundred bucks.

Picked up the Luk kit off ebay. 425 shipped to the house :( Going to install the weekend of the 14th. Any tips or tricks to dropping the tranny?

@ FORDSVTPARTS - Do you have Flywheel bolts in stock for the 6 speed? (not sure if they are different from the 5 speed) I have heard that they should be replaced when the clutch is replaced. Do you recomend this.

$2.75 each and we do stock them, If you don't replace them be sure to use Loc-tite on the old bolts when you install them.

They are unique to the SVT.

Rent an engine hoist to lift the trans in and out, it makes life a hell of a lot easier. You will need to rotate the trans counter clockwise to get it past the subframe (k-member). I also found this thread on focal jet to be helpful.
