So I need a new clutch for my SVT as when I get on it in a higher gear at like 3k rpms it will just start slipping.

I plan to occasionally auto-x it and someday may boost it. I want a clutch that will hold up to some decent punishment but don't want to spend very much. Definitely under 600.

Is the LUK going to last longer than the 55k?

If you plan on Boosting don't mess around when it comes to your clutch. :)

I have this one and it holds very well at 250 hp and 200 trq

Air in the line won't cause it to slip, it could cause it to not fully disengage but that's about it.

If it's slipping it's toast.

If you want the LUK clutch I have one that I purchased and is still in packaging and box. I bought it for 400.00 and would like to get rid of it because I will need a stronger clutch for the mods I am planning. Let me know if you would like to buy it from me, send me a pm and we can work out a deal.

Picked up the LUK kit from Jen. Putting it in next week. Any general pointers? Any special tools needed? Hopefully the LUK kit will bring me luck. ha-ha.
