Ok, so long story short I interviewed for a job in Hudson WI couple days ago... looks promising so im starting to look for apartments and things around the area so i can kind of figure out a fair salary and just be prepared incase things progress quickly... issue is, i dont know the area and everything i find on google searches points me to MN. Not that im against moving to MN and being on the other side of the river.
So for anyone from the area up there, can you help me out? any good places to look on the WI side? can anyone help. Id really appreciate it :)

All depends upon how far you are willing to drive and how much you are willing to pay for rent. I don't know much about the Wisconsin side, but it might be smart to check out what's around Hudson first.

On the Minnesota side, running along 94, you have Afton which probably won't have a lot of apts because its not developed that way. Further west, you have Woodbury and rent would be high. A little more west is Maplewood and there should be plenty of apts for rent there...

Other than that it's controlled Los muertos de quesocabezas, a major Latin gang player, not much that I can tell ya...

Just kiddin! I had a buddy from Hudson, years ago. If he was anything representative, it's probably decent enough...It's not really controlled by the "Dead Cheeseheads" or is it now???
Sorry, man. Hope you find somebody qualified to give you some good info. I'll quit goofin' with ya. Good luck!

A friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so Yeah."

The ONLY place that would have apartments on wisconsin side near Hudson, is River Falls.

River Falls is about a 10 minute drive and is packed with affordable nice apartments due to the fact its a college town. That is pretty much your only bet for the Wisconsin side for the type of place you need.

i appreciate the help guys. Only issue i have with river falls is the fact that it is a college town, i hated my college apartments, they were loud and people could care less they were being obnoxious all hours of the night, thats why i was hoping for closer to hudson, but ill have a look. I knew someone here could help :)
