First off, I used to know a guy with a 200 pound Mastiff so I'm fully aware of how large these dogs get but these pics really show the insane size they can achieve.

The 200 pound dog I knew could stand on his hind legs and look over a six foot privacy fence with no effort at all. Biggest dog I ever knew.

I don't think so, Have you ever been around a really large Mastiff?

Those two are certainly larger than average but they also both appear to be heavier (fatter) than normal as well. they don't get as tall as Great Danes but those dogs head sizes actually don't seem out of line to me in comparison to the ones I've been around.

I'll see if I can find the pic I have of my friends Mastiff sitting next to his Rottweiler, the Rotts head looks tiny next to the Mastiffs and I think we all know how big a Rotts head is.

Edit-The second pic might be altered because I did find a shot from a different angle although it was a smaller pic and the dog didn't look quite so large.

I still think that first pic is real though and it's a big fat old Mastiff which is possible.
