Does anyone have any tips on getting the drivers side axle installed? That c-clip is making it difficult. We tried tapping it in, but how hard to you have to tap? We just can't get it to go in all the way. ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon/confused.gif)

Just pull it and spin it and try re-installing again.
I personally don't tap them in, I often times 'beat' them in with a mallet.

Yeah, it shouldn't be that difficult to get them tapped in. twist and push. everything has got to line up before it will go anywhere.
Slower than your stock focus.

Is that the same one that was pulled out of its own CV joint?
I haven't had any problem putting my CV's in my car they seem to slip right in with a little push to get them past the C-Clip

no, the short shaft likes to stay where it is, and a special fork is needed to drive it out from the pass side of the trans.Patalrob wrote:I'm gues Getrag's are a little easier'r'r to work on?FORDSVTPARTS wrote:Getrag vs MTXPatalrob wrote:Is that the same one that was pulled out of its own CV joint?
