So I just took my intake manifold off to drain all the water. I used hose clamps to hold the boots back on. It seems to keep leaking
It makes a whisling sound and if I move the intake it goes away or gets worse. Anyone know how to fix this? Do I have the clamps on to tight or something?
Thanks
Thanks
Are you referring to the MAF -> TB tube, or the intake manifold couplers? The manifold couplers are the 4 hoses leading towards the intake ports on the head.

i hope you did not over tighten the mani clamps as this cracks the tubes.
if cracked JB weld works fantabulus to fix them back together
also check the lower retaining bolt on the mani, the one that has the rubber gromet, if this has slipped out of place it will cock the mani at an ood angle cusing a twwohhheet noise.
wink wink.....bitches
