I was going to drill and seal the door/body to run them, but I discovered, I could drill out the center of the molex connector and run wires through the middle so it looks totally stock.
the other door, I did not remove.

and yes, I did drive without the door on to get my new phone activated. it was fun! lol

firewall is the only way to fly with amp wiring. I always give my buddies shit for half-assing their wiring through the fenders and door sills for their power.

I have most of the time not gone through the firewall.... I like to run it underneath the car and have it enter in the trunk or hatch

Did you get pics of where you drilled? Do you have power windows? I pulled mine apart, and it looked like there wasn't an open spot to drill. Maybe because I have 2 more windows?

What kind of amp did you get?

I just drilled out the center of the connector.
I've only got speaker wires going into my doors, as it's a base model.
I'll snap some pics today or tomorrow.

I picked up a new USAmps XT800.2 for a hundred bucks.
in the serious car audio forums, I've only heard that USamps is an amazing company for car amps.
I've never liked the look of them, but this will be under the seat.
I thought it was about time I gave them a try, and at $100, I really can't go wrong.
