I was wondering if anybody knew more about the Dark 5 Spoke SVT Wheels. was there something specail about them or are they just a wheel that you could buy from Ford like the Gold 15 Spoke SVT Wheel? I have found that BAT had Black, gold, and white offered so I'm guessing Ford had them at one time also.

Here are a couple pictures of what they look like.

And a Reason why I'm trying to find out more about them.

it's a discontinued Ford wheel. Check with Steve to see if he can get you one. Bummer. Those are flat black right?

I bought a set of Gloss Black 5pokers back in 05' for Chromie. I had them for acouple years before selling them to my dad for his ZTS...then when he totaled the ZTS, he used them on his ST. And now his ST is gone, I'm 'stuck' with them. LOL But they were just factory SVT wheels that were factory coated gloss black, and they came with the Ford Racing center caps...

These are sooo old..its sad to see how far this car has come...

I blacked out the center caps with vinyl. My dad pulled that vinyl off tho...

Those on teh Red SVT, are they gloss black?
Ford only realesed Silver, Black, White and Chrome. I've never seen a dark grey set from Ford, they are aftermarket if they are...

I think whoever had the the car before Ted painted them...The quality didn't quite look factory when I saw them in person.

if you want them a different color, just buy some SVT's in poor shape for cheap and have them media-blasted and poweder coated. it's no as expensive as people think.

I'll second that, when Ed bought the SVT from Al it came with a set that were darker than silver, which was unexplainable.

Pat, you should make a thread on FF and FJ to see if anyone knows anything maybe.

Yeah they are almost if not mybe the same color as the 15 Spoke Euro wheel. I thought that they were just a painted or powder coated wheel, but after talking with Al he said that he had a SVT with the same wheels on it "Sold to Ed" and he thinks he knows somebody else that has or had some to. Its not like I need them I'm just wondering about them. It would be nice to have a good set of these for a Driver wheel and have another set for "Show"

What do you have for trade, I've got a set of EAP's on my car right now that could use a new home?

BTW- I've never seen those dark argent 5 spokers either, they are definitely not from Ford.

Hmmm, I've got Alans old wheels(actually your old ones)

I'll be getting Mille Miglia's soon. Just waiting for the guy to ship them. Otherwise, I want to keep everything I have...
Maybe we can discuss this in PM's or next week when I pick up that hatch strip and exhaust stuff.
