Here are some of mine, These are virtually all kitbashed (not built as boxed). They aren't perfect but I think I do a fairly good job on them.

The latest, '49 Merc Carrera PanAmericana racer. Engine, drivetrain and suspension from a Winston cup stock car.

These are really not 'models', but close enought to scale builds...

o6' and I used to race R/C cars. He'd typically build/maintain the chassis and motor. I was in charge of driving, bodies, and setup.

I painted all my own bodies. All the modified bodies are hand made by flat lexan. All were bent, painted, and vinyled by me. Thats why we ended up getting a vinyl cutter, was for this hobby. And that is also were my screen name originated at. I'd build/paint/vinyl stuff for car at the track...

All the cars I did were replica's of real sized ones, and in most cases, got pretty damn close...lol

One of my later ones. I'd say 90% of the vinyl was cut 'in-house' and it also had the "CF" Deck...

Custom built side panels and wing sides. Was meant to be a Midget model'd after Tony Stewart's Zetec power'd Midget at the ChiliBowl, but ended up building the wing later on....

Last but not least..my fav over the years...That last one I built....acouple years ago.

Thanks guys, I still build a couple cars a year. Not easy to find a lot of spare time but I need some sort of creative outlet and since I can't do it in full scale I build in 1/24/-1/25 scale.

It's fun figuring out how you want to build a particular car, Most of those cars above have parts from 5 or 6 models incorporated into them.

The only box stock kit I've done is of a Mclaren M8C but I don't have any good pics of it because my camera is crap and won't do close up detail shots and the Mclaren is by far the most detailed thing I've ever built.

You know as I was typing in descriptions I noticed something, There seems to be a bit of a forced induction theme going on in my collection. Hmmmm, I wonder why that is?

BTW- Beautiful R/C cars there Kyle, I've always wanted to build a serious R/C car but funds prevent me from getting into that area.

My favorites are the Merc and the Studebaker. The paint job on the Studebaker is phenomenal. The display garage is also unbelievable. You certainly have a talent for model building. I did some building as a kid but never to extent you’ve taken it to. Very nice work.

The garage is a work in progress,it's always changing.

Here's the Mclaren, I left the bodywork off due to the detail of the chassis and engine. I just couldn't bring myself to cover it up. You can see the orange upper bodywork in some of the other pics.

Holy Shit. Is that one of the Tamiya kits?

I built a Tamiya WRC Focus back in the day, was a cool build.

Wish I had more time, I'd like to pickup another Tamiya kit of some sort...

Nope, It's from Accurate Miniatures. The instructions were something like 30 pages, it was a freaking book.
