FSVT in Rosemount area

Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

Hey, I just joined up on here...don't have a FSVT but I do have a CSVT... Anyways, I ran into a guy with a silver FSVT on Monday after class. Looked like he had chrome E0s (I don't know what you guys refer to them as...the first gen wheels) and we got into a run just for fun. He definitely wasn't stock because it was pretty much dead even. Is he a guy on here? I have also seen a black FSVT at my school (Dakota County Technical College.) I'm just wondering if any of these guys are on here. I almost bought a True Blue FSVT from Apple Valley Ford but they wouldn't give me enough for my car for it to be worthwhile. I love em, I just can't decide between the Contour and the Focus. The Contour looks better IMO, but has the oiling issue and parts are pretty hard to come by...maintenance is a biatch because there is no room to do anything in there...haha. The Focus is #2 in looks to me but it handles awesome and there are a lot more parts available for it. Plus the interior is a lot more refined and better thought out than the Contour. Anyways...I will stop rambling now.

Welcome, I love my SVTF. It's going to be with me for along time.

As for a fast silver SVTF? I know of at least one in town with a Jackson racing blower with the Bigboost kit on it so maybe it was him.

Theres also a blown black one, a blue one and I think at least one more silver one, I don't think any of them come on here much but I don't know why.

That is cool, it'd be cool to meet up with some of you Foci guys. Next time we have a Contour meet I will let ya'll know. We haven't had one since before the summer tho... We usually get about 5-6 CSVTs to show up so it would be cool to get some FSVTs in there too.

Yeah, I have never run with a FSVT before and I had heard that from a stop the CSVT would pull on a FSVT. Well...we were pretty dead even so I have to think that he was definitely running something. I dunno if it was a supercharger tho...cuz I don't think it would have been that close. All I have is a large, open element air filter and the exhaust is stock except for the mufflers...which I have no idea about because I bought it like that. I pulled on him a little bit but I never had a car length on him. Good times.

Hey man... glad you joined up ;)

These guys have way more events going on locally then we contour guys ever do  So I just tag along and pretend the contour is a larger version of a focus 8)

Yeah...geez...I hadn't even checked out the thread that sits right above this one. I take back my previous statement and I say this. I will try and see if I can round up some contour guys and head out to one of YOUR meets...haha. The 27th? It is a possibility for me...I don't usually plan that far ahead tho and I just got a new job at Sears...so I won't commit just yet.

I unfortunately won't make it to that one, of all the days in a year I'm busy the 27th

But the Contour is put away now anyhow.
