well i went and dyno'd my car wit all my cousins, it went alright i guess.... i was scared because after i dyno'd i got abunch of lights on the dash, but it cleared after a while when i drove back..... dyno'd at map in plymouth....

MOD list: .65 gapped platnium motorcraft plugs, ford racing wires, steve's ported TB, cone filter, and hacked off mufflers.....

no dyno sheet yet, but here's my camera phone pix!

Wish some people would tell others when you dyno, I wanted to dyno Chromie by the end of fall, but don't see it happening...

eh, the dyno thingy was a last minute thing, i visited my cousins around 3pm on sat., then followed them out there to check out the their 3 supras dyno.... i then decided, hell why not run it and see wat #'s i get.... not bad at all after i saw wat the yellow integra type r put down... my 146/129 compared to the type r's 160/119 was pretty cool....

good #. was first run using 3rd gear? i need to head back to MAP soon. I might gonna dyno mine on the same day we have our meet later this month since I'm in the cities.

LOL the thing was some of my cousins were surprised wit the #'s i got, i under guesstamated (not sure if that's a word) my hp/tq #'s and some of them agreed wit me... then hahahaha turned out i out tq'd the type r!!!!

first 2 runs was in 3rd, the first run the computer only read up to 5k for some wierd reason... then the 3rd try was in 4th.....

oh one other thing the type r had aem cai, dc headers, gutted cat... i thought for sure that thing had more power than that wit those mods...

Most likely your dash lights had to do with your ABS or something, do the SVTF's have traction control? Dyno's have a tendency to confuse the system when the front wheels are going anywhere from 80 - 120 mph and the rears are going 0 :lol:

yep i got the TC crap... the tc and abs lighted up during the dyno run, and after driving on the freeway for 5min or so, the lights went off....

Yeah thats normal, I was a little thrown off the first time I got in my car and saw an ABS light too :lol:

lets hope its better than the one you have!!! just playin. as long as you stayed in the throttle you stayed out front. makes me wanna try a tune. and those numbers from hi tech where with the duct tape and zip tie intake tube. and stock tune.

them honda motors follow the norm with the I-4s, no low tourqe and shit loads of rpm, the focus motor was made to get around that, with the veriable mani and cam. not many I4s make the tourqe like the ford 4. now put your winter wheels on and go dyno, i bet you like the numbers a whole lot better!!!
