Lies!!!! unless your fully rebuilding your block like Rod and Davis did, no way in fucking hell you'll see 400whp let alone 400 crank hp.KRYPTO wrote:Its a secret. I'll show everyone at a meet when its done.grocerygetter wrote:Sweet, what's your turbo setup?
(hint- 400hp)

400whp is pretty tough to reach, high compression engine (SVT) with 20+ PSI, that is a grenade, show us the pics of the carnage!!!!

Slower than your stock focus.

for wire...
I'd buy some 0-awg from http://www.knukonceptz.com/
I've purchased from them before and their quality is equal to high dollar 'name brand' equipment you'll find anywhere else.

Again, like I stated, Davis for example, has a 2.3l CGI stroked bock (basically same thing but better than a cosworth block)KRYPTO wrote:getting a block from cosworth!!!!!!
enough about that does anyone have any wire laying around? Thats what I need right know.
its then balanced and blue printed. fully built internals and doesn't see 400hp.
so again, in your dreams.

wow whats with shiting on his hopes 400 hp should be doable if you toss enough cash at it. there are guys getting 400 hp out of sohc 8v 2.2L turbo dodges. so i dont see it as not posable for a focus but he may lose his drivability.

You can't compare the two blocks. The Zetec is actually an extremely inefficient engine. Doesn't matter if you have a cosworth block or not. But yes throw (waste more like it) enough money at something and you'll achive it yes, but then comes the matter of drive abiliity. Just ask Davis how streetable his setup is.soul_hammer wrote:wow whats with shiting on his hopes 400 hp should be doable if you toss enough cash at it. there are guys getting 400 hp out of sohc 8v 2.2L turbo dodges. so i dont see it as not posable for a focus but he may lose his drivability.
I'm not trying to rain on anyones hopes and dreams, I am what some people call a pessimist, but I like to consider my views as being a "realist" just trying to bring your views into reality.

Ok enough with shitting on his dream.... first you say its not possible and now you say it is "if you waste enough money" ??? seriously anything is possible and its not wasting it if that is what he wants so what if he cant put the power down maybe he wants a car that is unique ... i know if he makes a foci with 400hp i want a ride in it !

My whole entire POINT was that its extremely hard, the ONLY one even close was turbo tom, and thats still debateable on whether he hit the so called 425whp he says he got with his car. There hasn't been any other cars to hit that mark in a focus, or "prove" it.focusjosh wrote:Ok enough with shitting on his dream.... first you say its not possible and now you say it is "if you waste enough money" ??? seriously anything is possible and its not wasting it if that is what he wants so what if he cant put the power down maybe he wants a car that is unique ... i know if he makes a foci with 400hp i want a ride in it !
400hp just honestly isn't possible without an entirely different engine, Duratec maybe, but again hasn't been proven yet, but certainly not a Zetec based setup.
also traction, why the fuck have a 400whp car if you can't even fucking drive it? Davis is barely over 300whp and he has huge traction issues, so what do you think 400whp would be like?
You people have all these big dreams, and no fucking sense of REALITY!!! A focus wasn't made for 400 front wheel HP, AWD thats a different story but FWD just isn't thinking straight any more.
/end rant
/begin reality

i see youre point josh i know with my focus that spining isnt a hard task so anything over 200 at the wheels is going to need some sort of traction adder. it just seemed you came on a little harsh is all i was saying. in reality a 250hp focus is going to be a crazy ride so 400 hp isnt realy needed but if he can pull it off more power to him ill be happy when my warenty is up and i can hit 200+.

Someone delete this post, because I didnt ask for info on what I'm going to do with the turbo, I was looking for wire. I had a post set up about me putting a turbo on before, but someone deleted it!! Now you can delete this one!!
Talk all the shit you want, If I really wanted to, I could make 600hp and make it hook up. All I would have to do is put my spare 351W in it with my 9" and show all you up!!
If you cant help me with finding wire, then dont reply!!
