I was thinking of doing that as well since I'm painting my door handles, but for a daily driver, and having problems with the battery in the key fob everynow and then, I would'nt risk it.

Looks nice tho. Where'd ya get it?

Ah, but low key fob batteries are of no concern young grasshopper.

Theres still a lock cylinder in the hatch :)

I may be old but I'm not dumb, I thought about the possibilty of a dead battery in the car or key fob as well.

Where did I get it? I know this guy that works at a dealership and he hooked me up, It's an SVT right side end cap.

if he does it to chromie and the cars battery dies he can just open the hood, apply jumper cables, then use the FOB

Chromie is getting the passenger side smoothed. Driver side needs a lock cylinder, since I don't have power door locks.(Just painted the cap, actually... 8) )

The right side and rear doors use the same end caps so yes they come in black textured finish.

And a shorter driver or modded Recaro seat brackets so they don't sit so damned high.

I love the Recaros and maybe if I didn't have the stupid sunroof I could use them but I prefer to not have my head rubbing on the headliner.
