The thread is locked while I'm replying to it, darn it! so here it is...

We used to have a meet in R&T talking about where we wanna meet on the "west side" of the cities. I personally think driving to TC is too much after working full time from 7:00 and thats why I cant really choose a good spot coz I dont know which place is best for all of us + I can't commit to go every week thats why we never picked a spot on the west side.
To me, this misunderstanding can be avoided IF the admin kept our "west side folks" informed or post of whats going on weekly thread. I'm not taking sides nor pointing fingers.

Now about ban, I would say we shouldn't ban people until people can voice the opinion directly on the thread. A same story could end up different when it is told from mouth to mouth (been there, seen it all). Again I'm not taking sides as I understand that Nils is trying to keep us informed and people took it differently.

Maybe Justin/Rob can chime in, get every body straightened out and delete the thread.

Well, since summer is here, I'd expect the meets to get cut down. Or maybe some on weekends to let people that work all work the opportunity to show to some meets. I'm sure acouple (proper)Porky's meet will be in order as well, which is alittle more centralized to everyone.

That doesn't make any sense at all, why would they get cut down, summer is the time to have meets. So you'd think they'd be more prevalent.

i agree. where on the west side do you live. im out in orono/wayzata and would love to get a G2G going out in this side of mpls.

Well, people have more shit going on typically. I know I'll show to some of the meets, but not all of them, since autoX is starting up. I won't want to drive up on thursday, and then again on sunday. Kinda a pain in the ass. But we'll see.

Josh, if you would of actually made it to the BWW meet that we had once in Northtown (actually the second time one was up there) I would of suggested that we try to make a meet a bit more convenient for you, but since that should of been really freakin close for you and you still didn't show up, I figured there was no hope for you showing up to a meet unless it was at your own damn house. I personally pushed the idea of having the meet closer to kyle since he comes every meet (when in bi week mode). The only meets he didn't really make it to were the Dave and Busters meet and the BWW Northtown meet.

I really do love how Josh maturely refers to us as "east snobs". That sure makes me sad that you never show up anyways. But seriously, you are cool in person atleast so I wouldn't mind hanging out more at a meet. maybe one of the off weeks we can try out that roseville location? That would be fine by me, I'd show up.

the "east snobs" was more of a moniker (nick name) more than a derogatory remark. The reason I didn't make it to the BWW's meet was the fact that my other comment about the meets being on a week day, that or if I remember correctly I belive I was in Detroit for work that week, yes I have a job which requires me to travel out of state so yes its hard for me to make the meets when I am not even in town.

So really I have/had two issues, first was location, second was day of the week.

For me to make it to a week day meet means I either have to arrange for someone to pick up my Daughter in Coon Rapids and drop her off at home in Ramsey, that or I'd have to pick her up, drop her off then turn around to the meet.

maybe once summer gets here and we actually have nice weather we can possibly do real meets on weekends, pre-planed, once a month or every other month, kind of thing. Ones where SVT Steve, Rod, Davis, maybe even Hot Rod Wagon and myself would show up.

BTW if you recall I was at the RT's meet a few weeks ago, so yes I do show up, but in the rare occasion when the stars are aligned and I have arrangements for my daughter.

as far as the rest of things go, and I am concerned its said and done with. I miss took some things nils said which is why I went off in the first place, its been taken care of and leave it at that. I honestly have no issues with anyone here, just the way things were said and done I took it out of proportion and I admitted that and took responsibility for it.

hey, i have gone to 3/4 meets in the last month or 2.

and im sure that summer is coming we will have G2Gs on weekends

LoL. Sorry guys, it was my roommates senior meal today. He's a resteraunt major and I ended up with too many glasses of wine. May have been some loose fingers around the forum earlier bewitching the scene!
