I always love to hear people argue about the weight of a set of wheels but then they put monitors in their headrests and 100 pounds worth of amp, sub and sub box in the trunk and probably 50 pounds of wire and cable to power it all.

BTW-not directed at Nils or Kyle but you guys know what I mean.

I agree, unless you have a car as a serious racer, all this weight delete is crap. Like the back seat delete or an a/c delete. Try losing some weight of your own and maybe your car would go faster :lol: A daily driver that you go and play with once in a while does not need weight reduction :roll:

I had 5 big guys in my car for a while today... omg, 2nd gear went on FOREVER!

and

reducing 1lb of rotational, unsprung mass is the equivalant of removing 10lbs of sprung mass.

so.
stock wheels = 25lbs
aftermarket lightweights = 17lbs

difference of 32lbs total.
adjusted to 320lbs equivalant.
100lbs = 1/10th of a second in the 1/4

that's .32 off your quarter.

that's significant. :twisted:
