'07 World of Wheels (rant)

What in the fuck? A god damn 1991 Mercury Capri was on hand. Who in the fuck cares, it's a Capri. I don't give a shit if it's "totally restored" or rusted to shit. It has no place in (what I usually considered) a higher caliber customized automobile show.

The hge crowds around the Amry's (assumed) Chevy truck just shows how neglagent people are about truely beautiful autos. I still hold the belief that if it cannot be driven on the street it is junk. You'd swear it was a bunch of women looking at rims, 'ohhh, shinny'. The Hot Wheels car was a great examp;e of what should be at a car show. Excelent engineering, fit and finish and truely a work of art. Also if I recall it was street legal. Oh, and if that is where some of my tax dollars (defence fund or what ever) went to, I am truely ashamed to be a tax paying american citizen.

Now I remember why I don't go to the show when it is at the River Center.

That so called "army truck" was a perfict fit at the show. If you were patriotic or not I don't understand how you thought it didn't fit in this show. It was a privatly funded show truck with a POW/military theme to raise money for our troops. If you don't like show trucks thats your opinion. The paint on that truck is unbelievable. I could stare at it all day and always find something new. And yes I agree with you with that piece of crap Capri. The reason there aren't many left is that they were piles and literaly fell apart. And may I add those craptacular ART cars! Why the hell would those waists of time in a show like this?

This is my opinion of this show. It is one of the worst shows put together there isn't one theme. Its all gonera's thrown together in a blender and parked in a convention center. The two main thngs I can not stand is the DUB generation of cars and the Art cars. I just don't get it.

IMO it was a disappointing show, but i luved the BIGASS main truck, i think it was that army red/white/andblue one.... damn and i wanted to check out the interior too.... oh and i also enjoyed awwing at all the chromes!!!!!!!!

The problem with the show is they don't screen the cars prior to the show, I could enter my parents camry if I had $50. For a well known show like this, cars need to be screened to keep the quality. Just like they do at shows such as Hot Import Nights, SEMA, etc. etc.
