I'm not exactly sure what the DD is, but if you have a problem with saving up for a pretty large purchase, you need a stategy for developing the amount without saving.
Maybe you could start with a small investment. Like resell some parts you really don't need. Use a seperate bank account or Paypal (never ever had a problem) and purchase and resell until your profits = a supercharger.
It can be done. I did this for a couple of years to help pay the bills after my wife lost her job. I was able to find excellent deals and pass them on, making a few $$ in the process. Everyone got a much better deal than was available...locals got the best deals of course

....just a thought...buying, selling, and saving in the process is much more fun than just saving alone...

Just buy a power works kit, smaller pulley, cams, and tuning.
Sell off your turbo shit and current tuning and maybe run stockish for awhile, and sell off all that euro junk you are buying, carbon fiber hood, and go for a stock sleeper look since no one here really has that look yet, besides focinite.

the car I bought from Dougboy last spring is currently the DD (daily driver). I plan on eventually fabbing a supercharger setup (twin screw@17 or more psi) for the car to better utilize the forged internals. before I do that I plan on buying/building another car to just be a daily driver with as many comforts as possible, including a sound deadening upgrade and the necessary power options
I currently don't have the money to just up and purchase another Focus for a DD and I don't want to take another loan out (I hate loans, which is why I am 6 months ahead on payments), and last time I checked twin screw superchargers weren't cheap.
I guess this means I need another JOB! (damnit)

did you miss the part where I said twin screw?
m62 will make more then enough power to get you into trouble.
roots are inefficient pieces of sht when it comes to higher boost levels and higher rpm's
