I'm not sure what the motor was out of. But it says right on the wire cover, "Zetec". I was hoping it would fit mine, but the valve cover is different and the holes are in different places...

You do know that the ZX2 cover won't work on the SVT engine don't you?

The ZX2 engine did use variable cam timing but it was on the exhaust cam, the SVT is on the intake cam and is a totally different system.
As I said in my previous post before I found this one, The ZX2 cover no worky on an SVT.

just curiour, what makes it not work, the hole for the solenoid in a diff spot, or is there a different shape in some spots for clearance reasons?

The hole for the solenoid is in a different spot because as I mentioned before one has variable intake timing and the other is exhaust besides the systems work differently anyways.
A Focus Zetec valve cover won't work because it has no vct and therefore no hole for the solenoid.
I believe that a ZX2 cover might work on a Focus Zetec but I am not sure.
Focinite, get the SVT cover powder coated if you want a different look.
