so i was leaving chaska on 41, it was raining pretty good, and it was dark, couldn't see much, smoked a pothole, dented one of the 18's, got pissed...
went home called my buddy, he came over, we inspected and thought "hey, its still holding air" and still in pissed off mode i said fuck this, lets go gravel some shit up...
2 hours and countless pothole filled, mudstrewn gravel roads later i parked it, with a highbeam out, a halo flickering, and a fogged up headlight...
suprisingly, the other rims took the punishment! and let me tell you what, kumho exsta MX's DO NOT LIKE MUCKY ROADS. no traction, it was fun as shit, hit a few nice muddy puddles, covered the car in crap. man i miss the nights of getting the fofo a little dirty on the gravels.. ;)
you may say, "thats not a nice thing to do to your car!" but for those of you that know me, this is nothing out of the ordinary, i love my fofo, its my baby, but sometimes my baby needs to get rough and dirty, haha!

so anyways, this morning i swapped the stockers back on. yay!

Didn't you just get the 18s balanced?

You enjoy torturing yourself don't you?

Otherwise sounded fun, sucks that a headlight fogged up, might have to just reseal it.

Big rims look nice, but they don't take too much punishment.

they were made to do that, remember it was desinged first and fore most for the wrc, thats why the foci is many time stiffer than the race preped escorte it replaced...have you ever woundered why when you lift a focus on a hoist , the wheels drop like9-10 inches out the wheel well? wrc is alot like nascar, they design these cars to fit the rules to have an advantege. try gettin some air wit it youll be amazed on how much the stock suspintion will take! crosby is a killa in the dark!!!!!

atleast you didn't do what I did this weekend. Took a corner too fast in the rain, spun out, smashed my driver side tire into a curb. ***BAM!!!!*** damn it was loud. So I backed off the curb and thought it sounded funny but to avoid unneeded attention I just drove it slow back to where I was staying. The car was all over the place and I thought to myself, just a flat. Turns out I really f'd up my 17" Enkei RS6, f'd the tire... bent the CRAP outta my tierod and who knows what else. If I put the steering wheel straight, the passenger tire is straight and the driver side is nearly 15 degrees pointed away from the car... putting stock tires on won't fix my problem! LOL
