any one running hood shocks??

just trying to get your opinion...

im thinking im gonna go redline tuneing , but they offer black standards or polished stainless.. for like 40-50 dollars more....
?? any experience with these

IIRC UmDivX's car has the redline hood shocks on them. They seemed really nice and decent quality when i looked at them.

i've got the black redlines and they works flawlessly, I love them, I wouldnt ever go back.

When I looked at them it looked like they just pop-rivit on the hood, not sure about the other end...I didn't really stare at it..

forgo the hood struts, saves weight..ha ha ha , get car struts the actualy do some thing. if you want a cool hood mod take the hinges and put them on the front of the hood and then put the struts in that would be cool.
