Just wanted to intoduce my self, here is my 05' ST. Only mods so far is the SVT suspension kit. Although the shocks and struts are the same I decided to replace everything. Except the rear swaybar which is already a 21mm.

I picked up some BFG g-Force KDW2s. Althought, I won't be autoXing with them. Unless I pick up a set of cheap rims somewhere, I'll be burning whats left on my stock 16s to the cords...LOL
How expensive you looking for tires?

Osceola to Eden Prairie? You must really love your job to make that drive daily. The only way I'd make that commute is by transporter beam.
Silly question but do you ever go to the wings and wheels show? Great time.

Wheels and Wings is our town fair every year and its a great time. The car show gets bigger & better every year. And I always load up on as many books I can. As far as the drive most people call me crazy and there right, mondays drive 3hrs should have just stayed home. I don't want to spend over 400 for tires. I like the BFG g-force tires but I also want to give the General UHP's a try but the only place I can find them are at tirerack. They have high ratings and are cheap. Is there any shops in the cities that cary these? I'm open sugestions on shops and tires.

I believe Steve can order in tires, can't you? Otherwise, I've gotten tires from DiscountTire, and pretty good prices and service.

f the st its still slower than the svt! sorry man ive got no love for the mush suspinsion on the st, plus that motor is all backwerds and stuff! and youi cant get a 3 door st

Yes it slower and ford is to blame for that. On the other hand its a better starting point than the 2.0. The fist thing I did to the ST was to throw in the SVT suspension kit I got from steve! And I am not a big fan of the 3 and 5 door so I went with my second ZX4. And compared to my old Ztec this is a rocket!

yeah they got a butt load of tourqe for a four banger, but still the intake is on the wrong side of the motor. ive driven a couple of them i still feel the ztec has more potintial, but the lower end on the duretec is damm near bulit proof ( butt loads and butt loads of nitrus) i think ford should just get it over with and drop the fusion motor in on the exscape all wheel drive trans ( they have a 5 speed version for the ztec..hmmm) and call it done!
