Well we did get something done, even if it didn't work?

We put in most of Sublimetime86's SVT suspension, took us only what? 7 hours?

My hands are burning today, I hurt all over, ahh it's good to be in shape.

Anyways, we got everything but the rear springs put upside down into Sublimetime86's car.

I'll put some pics up tonight when I get home, maybe at lunch in 2 hours.

Let me try installing mine this weekend, IF it doesn't blow up my car I'd be happy to come help you out or have you drive to myplace in EP and we can work on it.

I'll let you know, I might have to buy a new stabilizer link rod because that freakin pinch nut is NOT moving.

I tried pbblaster, stripped it, tried a blow torch, nada, tried make 2 ends flat and bent my craftsman wrench on the mofo, gunna have to cut it off.

Oh well at leas the pinch nuts are decently cheap, but I think the stabilizer is a bit more spendy.

Damn...

See if you can get a socket on it, like, pound it on, and, impact it.

Some times that under carrage nuts won' budge, I cracked a 1 1/4" socket in 3 places on 1 car, with only a 2 foot bar on the rachet :o

Yeah I was thinking ahead and took all my wheels off and loosened and retightened everything.. or that was the plan.

I got the bolts that hold in the strut towers at the bottom to move pretty easily, probably becasue I pbblastered them at FOCI's place, but the rears were not budging, just like Sublime's car, I think I may just find an inner spring compressor and use that and skip trying to make that bolt move, I did some reading and if I F-up that bushing I have to buy a whole new lower control arm to replace it.

And then came those stupid pinch nuts, if those link rods are under $40 a pop I'll just cut the suckers off, that or ask the ford guys if they want to try their hand at getting them loose.

Yeah I remember on my olod super coupe when I went to gank the rear springs from it before it went to the bone yard, we tried to compress the spring, it was a no-go, I mean, we could do it, but it wasn't enough to get it to come out of the "dimple". I was actually admiring the rear IRS setup the other day when I rotated tires...those are "cute" lil springs..
