well just yesterday i decided to throw the stock euro argents on... i realized i got this huge azz nail in one of the tire... i tried to patch it up but the hole was too damn big to even be patched.... so here is what i was deciding to do....
go to discount tires and get a new conti stock tire for the wheel, OR go and order all 4 of new tires, any brand for under $100 each.... ANY RECOMMENDATIONS??

I just got a set of Kuhmo 711's off tirerack 215/45/17 for $250 delivered. They look to be a pretty good tire for daily driving and ocaisional autox. I havn't put them on yet I am waiting to get a lug set from steve. When I do I'll let you know how they are.

They are not impressive.
My brother has them on his tbird, he said they work as long as you never want to get on the throttle, he breaks them loose often, he said cornering isn't that great either.

Hes right. They Suck. I have them on my Black 02 SVT rims, and they don't get any traction at all. I'm glad now I sold the rims to my dad, he can burn them off on the ZTS. I bought new rims and BFG g-Force KDW2 for my new rims.
And for my Euro Rims I picked up from richie-1, I'm thinking of ordering Kuhmo MX's for autoX daily drivers for the SVT C.
But of course, none of those are under 100$. Anything under 100$, your getting what you pay for.

The 712's can be had for under 100$ if you get them thru tires.com, but, you will still have to pay someone to put them on a rim for you.
I'd like to get another set of 17's and get some 712's, or, sell the tires that are on there now.

Thats nice to know! But I don't need a tire strickly for autox or to be a rail on corners. I just need a set to burn up this summer for my hour long comute to work every day so I rack up miles and go threw tires pretty quikly.
My second option was the General UHP any one have experience with these?

well folks, i just went and got my new tires.... the winter tires just sucked wit this warmer weather... i was gonna get a set of nankang ns-1 ($84.00)... but i looked at the displayed model and it didnt look like 45 series, more like 40 or lower, real small and skinny.... then i checked out the kumho ecsta 711 ($87.00), no one had it in stock, so i decided to just get the Yokohama AVS ES100 ($117.00)... that was not what i intended to spend.... but oh well... i also got the dude to give my a discount and take off $60.00 from the total amount.... well i'm all good now... thanx folks for the recommendations.....
oh and my cousins decided not to take my stock conti... so i got those laying around... anybody wants it??

Yoko AVS100 are good tires. I had a set on my Talon a few years back. The car rode slammy with them, but other then that, awesome tires.
