Hello everyone, here's my two SVTF's. I bought the black one from Polar Chev in Mar '11 and totalled it back in June after I rearended a drunk driver. I bought the orange one on Ebay last month in Albuquerque. Steve convinced me to buy back the black one and maybe part it or sell it. I later saw on the lift how mint the orange one is since it has never seen salt. I decided then I would fix the black one and make it my winter SVTF. I'm in the process of that right now.
That's why we sell complete new cabs, boxes and frames on Super Duty pickups, they can sustain massive damage and still be repaired without exceeding their value.

I know, this is my first non black vehicle and a very bright one to start with as the first!
I was surprised it was totaled also. The frame is fine. By looks alone I figured $3k, especially since airbags didn't go off. It ended up being $6700 when all said and done though which is about what they valued it at. They were going to replace both front quarter panels, front bumper, both Mach headlights at $950/ea and of course some weaker parts received the brunt of the impact. When I fix it, I'm going to keep the fenders/bumper/driver's side headlight as they only have minor damage.

Are you suggesting that one could use those parts to repair an SVTF????
