I need to do something about my stupid brakes.

The rotors are hashed.

I want way better then stock.

I want brakes that are so good that, when your anus puckers as some ass clown pulls out in front of you, you slam on your brakes, and, you have steering wheel in your mouth.

I am not getting that currently. Instead I am getting the shimmy shimmy shimmy and brake fade.

I don't like it.

I have some hawk pads up stairs I bought, was waiting for new rotors, but, all the rotors I find are cross drilled or slotted. I don't own a porche or an enzo that goes fast enough to truly benifet from that, so, either I need new rotors, or, maybe an svt conversion?

What is everyone running on the front?

I am running EBC standard rotors. They seem to work just fine, umm of course that is when my car is running.

I was looking at them. It is tempting, but, thats a lot of money on brakes....but, the stopping power....maybe I could get my rear off the ground when I lock 'em up?

The SVT brake kits are $800.00 and it includes everything to convert front and rear.

They are of course temporarily backordered again but it's about the best deal going if you ask me since it lets you ditch those nasty rear drums.

I may even be able to find someone who would let you test an SVT to see how the brakes feel, Hmmm now where can we find an SVT?

I ran the EBC (standard and slotted) and warrped both, finally I switched to the "good" rotors that NAPA has, made in canada and not china, nice thick steel, good shit. Then added a set of EBC green stuff pads and man that was the best brake combo I had, that was on my sedan, and will be doing the same setup to the hatch commin up here soon.

Nothing else, It's a complete kit. I have sold a few and so far everyone who has done the install has breezed through it and it works perfectly.
