So I finally found one to test drive yesterday at Freeway Ford in Bloomington. Didn't get to take it very far because it was on empty and the sales guy said they wanted to keep the miles low. It was a Tangerine Scream ST2 and I was very impressed with how everything was laid out inside. It made a great noise inside, not sure why some people describe it as a blender because it just sounds like healthy engine growl.
The seats were fantastic, held me in place and were very comfortable. I did a 3rd gear pull on the highway and felt the steering wheel tighten up quite a bit. I was too busy enjoying the drive to pay attention to what the gauges were doing, so I can't comment on those.
Overall I'm very impressed and I can't wait until mine arrives!

Very cool
I finally sat in an ST the other day, we have a Tuxedo black one here.
I don't fit in it
The seats are too narrow and with the seat all the way back the b-pillar is right next to my head so I can't see out the left side of the car.

A complete inability to see out the drivers side of the car doesn't qualify as a valid complaint?Redlineracer12 wrote:[

Looked at blue ST the other day. I actually liked it. Outside is not bad, I'm fine with the 4 doors since I'm used to my Jetta's. Price is pretty decent for what it has and under 28,000. Then.....I looked inside and saw those horrible ugly ass fucking seats. What were they thinking? It looks like a kid ate a bunch of blue Crayola's and threw up on the seats. Damnit Ford....
(I'm assuming the seats in a black ST are all black? Anyone can confirm this?)

ST1 interior is just black and grey, no recaros, ST2 are partial leather recaros with either Blue, Yellow or Grey inserts and ST3 has full leather black recaros.o2designs wrote:Looked at blue ST the other day. The only way to get all black would be to buy a Tuxedo Black with the ST3 package

She’s built and in transit! The tentative ETA is showing as Oct-24-2012. Please keep in mind dates are subject to change. Check with me next week and I'll see if there are any updates. Thanks!
