Yep, it was a solid 10 second car back in the early 70s which was blazing fast back then. Still not bad really for a huge N/A car.focinite wrote:yeah i gots all mixed up with bob and the high boy(wich is also eff-ing sweet!!!!) but yeah that 55 in two lane , i love the sound of the rock crucher just whirrlin away. from what ive read about that car is its one of the few movie cars that can actullay put down some numbers, it was actually fast.

Kinda looks like the frame buckled in the middle... I think it would be nearly perfect if the body were a bit more level with the ground

i like my Z heavy in the front, thankyou. there was a cool old ford in an issue of hot rod a few months back, the picture was from the 60s and it had a healthy Z in the rear , heavy channel job and a fire dome up front, the caption said it was oddly 2012ish and i am starting to see more and more pics from the 60s and 70s and how the styles are coming back round. but this slammed thing is new, they liked to drive there cars back then, now a days its more like a flower pot, some thing to stick in the front yard and look at. what ever happened to the von dutch fad? all the kids must have found out he was a drug and booze addled pin stiper from back in the day. fads oh well.o2designs wrote:

My understanding is that's a real GT-350 as well, that's an older pic and it's been cleaned up since then and it's an 11 time SCCA National champion.
