yo, so my car has been idling bad... pretty rough... I was gonna check my MAFSI read somewhere that if I disconnect the MAFS it should idle fine but when I do this my car, it revs to 1000rpm, drops.. back up to 1000rpm... over and over again... might I just have a vacuum leak between my intake manifold and my head? all of the other hoses and vacuum lines seem fine, except I notices that the PCV connector is somewhat loose and I can take the rubber connect off and on my PCV pretty easy, and the PCV valve itself is extremely easy to take in/out. Any gueses as so how I should approach this? Gimme a shout.
note: would I be able to check my vacuum pressure easy if I hooked up my vacuum/boost gauge? If so, I'll hook up my pod and all of my other gauges.
bad idle... checked hoses... ?'s

get a can of carb clean and start spraying where you think the leak is,, if and when you find the leak, the rev will kick up, or the motor whill stumble. that is what we do when you pay a hundred and fifty dollars for diag at the shop!

I was hoping to get my problems fixed before I through my now complete turbo on and tune it
I'll try the mentioned
