The past few days I have noticed with the colder weather that my E-brake seems to be sticking on when my car has been sitting awhile with the E-brake handle pulled. It doesn't stick completely on, but its on enough where the pads are making contact with the rotor. I can tell that it is on because the rear end of the car squats slightly when I first begin to let me foot off the clutch like if I had the brake fully engaged. The brake seems to slowly release once i have driven a few miles.
When i first put the brake handle down there is a little bit of play in the handle, but once I have driven a few miles(sometimes it takes up to 10 or 15 miles) the play in the E-brake handle disappears and the feel of the handle is tight like it should be.
You guys have any idea what could be causing this or what the fix could be?
Thanks in advance!

I'm 99% sure it's the cables, it's super common.
I have them in stock, your cost $44.06.

Another vote for bad cables. Mine liked to completely lock the rear wheels in the cold before I replaced them.
