In the state of MN they are not allowed to set quotas, that being said, the cops have been stepping up speed enforcement. There are even commercials saying that the speed limit is the speed limit. The cops in MN are not even allowed to suggest a certain ticket number to reach, but i have heard that too few tickets given affects their reviews. So between the lines the cops are being pressured to give more tickets, but they do not have quotas.

My friend is a cop down in Jordan and no they do not set quotas. that being said, as Rod said they are putting up with less and less speeds.
They used to let people go at 5 over the speedlimit in town and like 7 or so over on 169.
they have been instructed to pull anyone going 5 over in the towns, and pull over at night anyone going 5 over to check for sobriety.
So yeah, they are just being a lot harder now, annoying.

I dunno, I make a point to get gas at the gas station the piggers go to. I even park close enough for them to see the illegal tinted windows and lack of a front license plate just to see what they would say or do. I get ntohing out of them, the other day, we went 65 by a pooper on the back roads, he didn't even slow down. I see them out, but, its like the black focus is impervious to law enforcement, hell, anything, I almost get runned off the road by all the hicks out here
