Ok... I'm not sure why, but I am having issues taking the serp belt off. I can't seem to get the correct size for the removal tool, and its driving me nuts. If anyone has any experience with this, it would be appreciated. I have everything removed except for the belt and the alt itself... i feel like I lost braincells or something and just cant do it...

Apparently you just needed a Karl.....Stilz wrote:yeah I just gotta run a get a pry bar. only thing I have here is a flat bar used to roofing.

I always ask trahma, he has pulled more alternators than anyone I know out of a Focus. Ford Mechanics included, he has shitty power issues.
Slower than your stock focus.

Fixed that for you, I'm 99% sure Justins problems are his home made trunk mount battery cables.Louis Zerr wrote:I always ask trahma, he has pulled more alternators than anyone I know out of a Focus. Ford Mechanics included, he has shitty battery cable issues.
