I run an ITG flat panel, and needed to clean/re-oil it. I called BAT,Inc about the ITG air filter oil they have listed. The guy said he rarely stocks it, as it's "hard to get a hold of"...whatever that means...but he suggested going to a motorcycle shop to find a product used for re-oiling foam filters. So I stopped off today in Belle Plaine and picked up a bottle of Yamaha foam filter oil for like $7. The bottle lists for foam elements only, and provides directions for cleaning and oiling.

This is alot cheaper than shipping the stuff from FS at like $15 a bottle.

Does the Yamaha stuff work the same? Would the K&N recharger kits work?

It is strictly for foam filters only. I'm sure it will work the same as the ITG stuff. I suspect the additives are different for gauze (K&N) type.
