corse.. i dont see any one talking about any problems they have with driveability and turbos. and i know that turbos are a little touchy... granted they spool faster now-a-days, they have that cool pooweeet noise, but remeber its a small cube motor, and it dont spaz to like 10,000 rpm like the hondas your useable range is like 2000- 6500 rpm perfect for a super charger,, plus that roots whine is orgasmic

I've had a blown motor, leaky turbo seals, snapped a cam in half, toasted a transmission. I have no problems, my fiance on the other hand has lots of them and lets me know too. about 12K later my car will be running again in a couple weeks once the new tranmission arrives.
Slower than your stock focus.

I would have a problem with myself if I put 12k into my focus. 10k is my limit 8)

lol nice like 10k is any better. I think I've only put like 3 or 4 into mine so far, but after my engine that'll be it...and maybe nitrous.lol

Has anyone done that boost factory turbo?

I would like to hear how it turned out if someone did, only 2500$, I may give them a call if my plan falls thru...

have you ever even taken a ride in a supercharged focus or a turboed focus?

With the dynos I have seen here, it looks like there would be no drivability issues. TQ on the DL and HP on the top. Makes for a nice street/strip combo and a car with power on demand. I'll admit, I am from the old school where the turbos made all the power on the top, but, the dynos I have seen are making me intriged, to say the least.

Keep in mind that the dyno you are viewing was a shut down run, i had him shut it down at 4500 rpm. It started making power about 3300 rpm (maybe a little high for some ppl) but torque was going through the roof.

trama .. no i have not.. but if you are offerin you big sexy hunk, then you got my atten!.. i have seen a couple of turbo and super foci race , there wasint much differance between them other than the turbos had more work done to them to handle the temps and boost spikes common with fast spooling turbos, and the turbo cars where deffenitly running higher up the rpms. it seems to me that with a good super charger a boost management system and a good driver it would be more effecient , cheaper, and all around mor fun than a spendy, problem having, hot air blowin spool monster of a turbo. but thats just the way i feel....oh and tramma i want a ride , i saw 02s face when you guys got back... so i know that little show queen isnt slow
