You must be rolling in the money! $$$$

The 08's and 09's are $45K+

I'm thinking either a 2006+ VW or a newer Subaru...even though it is the lesbo trademark.

If you're thinking of getting out of that GLI, I have a nice Hybrid you could consider! :o

Kyle is widely known as the king of vinyl down in Rochester, how else do you think he can buy a new set of wheels every week?

I'm not trading my VW for anything. I was looking for beaters so I don't have to drive my Jetta in the winter. I found acouple M45x's, but none with the options I wanted, fully loaded, Tek Package(car guided cruise control) heated and cooled seats, and Navi with the upgraded software for 2010 maps. So I'll just keep looking around...

Found another option today looking around. Local dealer got a lease return Element SC today. Drove pretty good. Was kinda quick, not too bad. It handled actually pretty good with teh SC suspension on it. Kinda suprising. Pretty sure it was lowered tho, dealer was'nt sure. Also has a roof rack. So its pretty sweet. Looks almost like this, except different wheels, and no step bar on teh side. Has alot of potential, salesmen said the previous owner was getting 37mpg on average. Co-worker has one of the new Toyota Matrix's and said that is nice and gets very good gas milage. So you could also look at those maybe, but I dunno about Toyota's...

Wow,

Thanks for helping me figure out some other options, seriously. I've considered the Element's in the past. I'll have to check out the "SC" though. At our Honda Dealer up here, they have a 4WD one that's in nice shape...

Good option, thanks.

I've seen the Matrix's too... Good feedback on options. Keep em' coming.

Unfortunately the trade in value of my car seems to go down by the day, right now it's around $12500. I've got it listed to sell it outright b/c the PP value is still pretty good on it. We'll see.

I'm liking the SC.

How much is the one down by you? Year? Miles? Auto? If I can get 37mpg and gain that interior space, that'd be great! I saw theres a decent one in Richfield down in the cites for sale, priced a bit high for me, but close to my range.

Thanks for the find Kyle! I'll have to do some more research on it. :o

Hey Kev, I know you were looking at PT Cruiser turbos a little while back. Whatever happened to that idea?

I'm prettty sure thed vw I got has a drop and upgraded suspension... its nice and tight in the corners and drives great. The fenders flare out a bit and sit about an inch above the 18's. I think the taillights have a slight tint too... they look nice. There are suttle upgrades I am noticing here and there.

Looking at getting 20% tint on the cargo space windows and 35% on the fronts... in the next couple weeks. You guys still go with dark dan for that?

Heres a link to pics of the new VW. These are the dealer images off www.cars.com. I'll post pics when I have time to take some and upload them.

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail/ph ... f=national

I looked into tinting today and they told me the state patrol is really cracking down on "passenger vehicles" and window tint. They classified mine as a passenger vehicle. I told them it is a wagon, more of a cargo vehicle. I am wanting to tint the back windows (backseat and cargo) 20%. They told me they cant do that. So, I called my insurance guy to clarify. He told me that my VW is a cargo vehicle and he is 99% sure I can legally tint the cargo space, being everything but the front two windows.

Thoughts?
