I can recognize when I am not welcome on a site. Sorry if I am wearing out my welcome because I bought a different brand car. I got the car because its fun and it was thousands below trade in value with a clean title and carfax. I didn't get the car so I could argue with you about whose is faster...your SVT's or my Civic Si. I did state that I know my car is quicker than my old ST. I believe it is. That didn't mean I need to race someone else's ST or SVT to prove it. It was just a statement/opinion. I enjoy the Civic Si. I used to enjoy the conversation and advise i would get when I came here with questions/comments/etc. So I came here with this car to update all of you on where I'm at and to ask a couple of questions...not to argue about who's car is faster.

Thanks for the comments and feedback. How do I mount the plate in the grill? Drill holes? I painted the wheels a dark grey last night, they turned out a lot darker than I wanted, but they still look pretty good I think. I did the calipers red instead of black because the rims turned out so dark. The calipers look really good. I also put in new headlights..."bright white". That was a challenge, I had to take the wheel well plastic out to get to the front right one and even then it was tight...but it worked out. I'll post pictures of the work up, if that is okay... If I am not welcome here, just let me know and I will get feedback from the civic forums.

Yup, what he just said. You don't think we would get the same if we were mnhondas members and said "I just bought a focus"?
Let's go boating.

This. We're just busting your balls man. Don't take it personally, it's all in good fun. If the grill is big enough, try and zip tie it in somehow. Drill small holes pointing up into the bumper, out of sight and hang the plate from there. You should be able to get it in there. Ask around the Honda a Civic forums for a solid answer.blcksvt2003 wrote: haha dont get ur panties in a twist man, just messin around, u kinda gotta expect a lil shit from a mnfocus site when u buy a honda, but thats all it really is, just givin u shit

Exactly, you should expect some grief if you're bringing a Honda in here. o2designs has a VW now and we give him a hard time non-stop about it.blcksvt2003 wrote:haha dont get ur panties in a twist man, just messin around, u kinda gotta expect a lil shit from a mnfocus site when u buy a honda, but thats all it really is, just givin u shit
And besides, you did say "Waaaaaayyyyyyy better than my ST ever was or would have been" which is rather a bit like throwing down the gauntlett.

How about this?

You could probably fab something up like that using angle or flat metal.

I'm sure we could find a fairly sheltered area to hold such an event...I'd hate to show you both up at the same time though.o2designs wrote:I actually kinda like these Civic's. Not my first choice, but could see the interest in one...

I used the brush on kit. I think it is way easier that way. Kinda expensive though. I have extra black and red, if you're gonna do one of those colors.
