It is Drews car, I was talking to him Friday about it.
Apparently someone he works with is thinking of selling an STi at a decent price.

What ignition set up does he have to get 340 miles on a tank? I have gotten best 290.

He's got a Jay Racing coil on plug setup on it, I'd love to try it but it's expensive.Arsenal741 wrote:What ignition set up does he have to get 340 miles on a tank? I have gotten best 290.

It's not that great. Just allows a guy to clean a few things up ... and I can't remember if I answered you or not, yes the SVT cover fits over the top.
btw, paid $200 for mine, lucked into a deal. Shop around or DIY it with Duratec coils.

No clue. I changed too much at one time to get any kind of idea.
I haven't played much with it either. I should see how big of a gap I can run once I guess. IIRC on a new SD coil I could go to almost .070" and be just fine. New setup I could barely manage .040". Installed the COP and have been running .055" (stopped there because it worked). BUT, the SD wasn't in the best shape, nor was the stock coil/wires I tried.
Should really start a new thread on this. Sure it'll get lost otherwise.
