help? clutch pressure sensor maybe??

ok so last night it was pretty wet out, i went to drive home from minneapolis and my foot slipped off the clutch pedal, if u have ever driven an svt with wet shoes u understand..., buut in doing so i knocked off some connection/cable thing goin to the clutch pedal and the car wouldnt start again after i shut it off, I figured out what happened and the connection is back, the car starts fine....IF u push that gray button ALL the way down by hand to start the car...wierd huh? i noticed when i push in the clutch pedal it only just barely pushed down the gray button thingy..haha pro language over here, but yea any advice/experience with this problem would be much appreciated :D

It's the safety switch on the clutch pedal. It has to be depressed to start the car. It should be pushed all the way in when the clutch is pushed down. If not it's not on properly.

yea idk...dont see any other way to have it on there..seems like its all in the stock location...idk the little rubber deal on the pedal just doesnt push the safety switch down all the way

ok... quick fix=electrical taped the rubber nipple off of a birdie to the rubber deal on the pedal so the switch goes all the way down..not ideal..but quick and free :)

there should be a small rectangle braket sum bitch down ther, it will have what looks to be an eight sided star, put the nuetral saftey switch/crusie cancle in that sum bitch so that the little black button is touching the sum bitch on the clutch pedal and give that littl f-er a twist......my first kiss went like this...and twist......... :lol: . if you get all bass awckwerds just look at the brake pedal it has a red and also a green one that are set up the same way.
