Speedo stopped working

Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

After replacing my clutch a few days ago, and only 35 miles later, my speedo stopped working. Initial thoughts are speed sensor wire must have melted to the exhaust. Will be taking a look at it tomorrow. Any thing else anyone can think of?

VSS is on the back of the trans. Wire harness it runs into is on the top of the trans. So how it could of melted or been affected by the exhaust is :lol:

Bet it just came loose.

the wire is was loose enough that I thought it may have been next to the cat.

Lucky. Mines so damn tight that if I hit a bump wrong I loose my speedo. I even tore apart the entire harness, just isn't that much slack in my harness.
