I am picking up a front brake svt conversion kit for my 06 zx3 and want to know if I can still run my stock 15" steelies in the winter? Any info would be great.
Thanks,
Brian

Sorry man. Unless it's an aftermarket 15" wheel, like Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2...no go on the 15's. Time to hunt some 16's. There was a set pf stock splits for $100 on Craigslist in the twin cities area a week ago. Might be worth a look.

don't forget contour/mystic and cougars have the same bolt pattern and offset. i think there is a cougar partout on there somewhere too
A friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so Yeah."

Oh yeah, the Cougar wheels... they look great without the factory centercaps. Some guys put the smaller Rota caps on them, they look like aftermarket wheels. I looked for a set for winter, but couldn't find any for a decent price.

You could always test fit the 15's but I doubt they'll work.
I've seen some 15's that just require smoothing the casting line in the caliper to prevent rubbing.

SVT contour wheels were 16x7 and they are pretty easy to find cheap.
But if you already have 15" snow tires then none of these 16s will help you re-use your old tires

Thanks for the help, looks like I'll stick with stock until I wear out my winter setup
