just have to say that today had to be the worst day of my life. I loaded my wifes army bags onto a bus so she could train to go to Iraq in March.

Next time you see someone who has served there country tell them thank you because defendeing this country comes with alot of pain and hardship for both there families and themselfs.

This is my drunken thought on the matter!

P.S.
and now I have her zx5 to pimp out too...Two foci... I'm gunna be busy

I know how you feel man, I had to send off my youngest brother back to Fort Shelby this past monday, he left for fort shelby in september and came home for christmas but now hes back down there, and then will be getting shipped off to iraq some time in march as well.

he's the youngest sibbling, I've got two younger brothers. christmas was a blast, it was great to hang out with him again, but it sucks knowing that I wont get to see him again for atleast 12 to 18 months.

My best wishes to you and your wife, and the rest of your family, I know how it all feels, but as my brother tells me he signed up for it, he knew what he was getting into or so he says.

well thats all for now,

hey, what unit is he with? is he national gaurd? It sounds like he could be going over with my wife's unit.
12 to 18 months is a long time, but it's not forever... I spent 6 months away from my wife before and looking back it wasn't that long. were looking at possibly 3 years apart. (I will be moblized 3-6 months later than her.

you should post his address for iraq when he gets there so people here could send him care packages.

thank you , and god bless you're brother and you're family.

He's stationed in the anoka armory, part of the new ulm unit. Are you in the service as well?

One of my best friends I've made since moving down here was back for the holidays till he went back to Mississippi. It sucks to have a good friend leave, I can't imagine having a wife leave. Don't worry though, we'll keep you busy with stuff to do in the summer. 8)

I have a cousin somewhere over there, he does artilery. He is from my dad's side and I am not close with my dad or his family so last time I seen him was like in '96...

I REALLY wish we would gtfo out of there, we have NO right to be there, I love how bush went from the "war on terrorism" to being in the saudi's pocket, what a pussy, and, watch, I bet when his time is up, jeb will run, so, 16 yrs straight of this crap.....Kerry woulda won if he had not pulled out before all votes where counted, I bet bish got on him and pushed him out. You don't go through all that work and just "step aside" and let someone win because you suceed(sp?).

Its bull, but, meh. At least bush is not in the pocket of some anti-firearms advocate, speaking of, I need to buy some firearms before we get a sally in the whitehouse....
