Ok, I'm having troubles with something. I picked up a HID kit from Kev (I think) a few years ago, and they have been working great! (thanks Kev) I just can't find any info on them or anything so I'm coming here with a couple of questions.

1: The kit that I got only had 1 filament style bulbs, but had wiring for both reg and bright. Am I able to swap out the other bulbs and hook up the other wires so I am able to use my bright lights?

2: Will the bulbs have "part numbers" on them like regular bulbs for replacement?

Any help would be appreciated.

does the bulb have 2 "filiments"? or does the bulb part move. if not, then the extra wires are just the to "plug holes."

i think all HIDs are the same bulb, just a different adapter ring to make it fit 9007 or whatever housing. i could be wrong, but check if you can hold the outer part and twist the bulb (where it plugs in, not the BULB) out. that's how mines are, but mine prolly aren't the best bulbs
A friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so Yeah."

You might want to post some pics Rob, that way people know what you're working on.

hmmm.... this might take some effort to "post pics." idk about the 2 filament part. I have zero experience with HIDs. All I know is I got the kit from Kev a few years back, and the wiring supports reg beam and high beam. Just the bulbs don't have a high beam.
