Just the fact that everyone was picking the Cowboys and dismissing the Vikes, I really hope they do well next week but I'm not holding my breath.
I used to be a rabid Vikings fan but Denny and his bad attitude and teams that never failed to give up I stopped watching years ago, it'd be nice to have a real reason to start watching again.
I was holding my breath. For some reason I just don't see the Vikes as being that good. While I am happy they won....now comes the Saints. Great for me, right? I mean I'm from New Orleans, so I can't lose . That being said, I'm not a Saint's fan and haven't been for a couple of decades now. Sooo.....it is going to be a bitch beating the Saints in the Superdome. The Saints will be lit up on the highest adrenalin possible. If they roll early, it could get ugly. I'd like to see the Vikes win. I'm just not feeling it.

Key is our defense, if they can put on the same kind of pressure next weekend we could see the same thing happen.
I'm not holding my breath either but this really looks like a different kind of Vikings team than we've seen in the past.
Add in the offensive line's ability to protect Farve. I agree it could be a great game. If Peterson could have the breakout game we've been waiting for all season....that man needs get a little juke when hitting the line in his running style.
And, despite past historical trends, I have no fear of the Vikes tripping up this year... call it the Favre Factor if you like, but if our defense keeps their intensity up like against Dallas, we will likely run away with the Whole Enchilada!
So, about the proposed winter lake-meet...anyone in particular in charge of said event? The sooner I know the date, the more likely i can attend.
