Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

I decided that my next mod will be tint, but I'm having trouble deciding. Tien over at Street Scenes can hook my up with a 50% or a 35% tint. With a black interior, would I be fine fine 50% tint? I would go 35, but I'm worried about tickets and seeing at night. Time for the tinted Focus's to show and tell.

I have 20% on mine. I have not been hastled yet about it. And I had it for about 6 months. Alot of cops saw it, but non bothered. As long as your not causing any attention, they pretty much leave us alone in Rochester.
I would probably go with 35% next time on the front windows. And 30% in the back. 20% is a pain in the ass to see out at night. 50% is hardly even tinted after you get it on the car. If you go 50%, don't even bother and waste your money.
So even tho 20% looks sweet, I would recommend 35%.

Mine was around $200. I'm sure its pretty expensive. But they did an awesome job on it. Except the rear window, I showed up early, and the guy got in a hurry. So the edges are peeling on the black surround. They said they would redo the back window for free next spring.

I think since I can still be considered a rookie driver I'm going to go 50%. I might change my mind about that, I have to see both in person though. co_macho, I'm getting tinted at Street Scene Tint in Spring Lake Park, they offer a lifetime warranty.

just got with the 35% I did that and never once did I get bothered. with 50% you will regret it, it doesnt even look like the windows are tinted at 50% I got my car tinted at Street Sceens in Fridley and they did a great ass job. Just go with the 35% you wont regret it.
